Doobie is about 3-4 years old and 70lbs

Doobie is a friendly goofy boy who's dog friendly even with the littles! He may need a slow intro but I'm not 100% sure. He loves to run around and go walks. He can be a little tough to handle so a pinch collar is needed for walks. He's not treat motivated outside and will choke himself with a slip lead or martingale collar. I'm not sure about cats but I think he would be amazing with kids. He's learned that he's bigger and needs to be aware of himself spatially.
He's a great guard dog and always warns me of any dangers including those nefarious squirrels! He's crate trained but free roams even while I'm at work.
His brother found his forever home a year ago so Doobie is way overdue!

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Doobie’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
