Ailen is a sweet, smart girl! She came to rescue as part of a group of 19 dogs who were dumped on a country road in rural Missouri. She is young but not high energy. She LOVES to follow her person around the house and snuggle on the couch. She has just discovered how fun toys can be. She walks decently on a leash and gets excited to take in all the smells. She is a great small/medium dog with short legs and very soft fur.
 
Ailen is great with other dogs. She likely has some herding breed in her as she loves to chase her Aussie foster sister around the back yard.  She does occasionally playfully nip when excited, so probably best not to be in a home with young children regularly. She is good with cats, but found them suspicious the first few days upon meeting some. But after a day or 2 she barely notices them in the house. 
 
 She knows basic commands of sit and come and is both treat and affection motivated. Ailen is mostly housebroken but does have the occasional accident as she is still technically a puppy. She will go in a crate to sleep, but she will let you know with her voice how much she doesn’t enjoy it. She would love to sleep with or near a person or other dog.

Ailen’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
