Meet " JR EWING "!  A 16 yr old, 14 lb, Terrier Dachshund Mix  He's got a long body & short legs, and cute little scruffy face!

His owner went to jail and left him behind with terrible red skin & missing fur due to flea dermatitis. His  fur is now coming back!

JR wants to find a family that will love him and give him a great life. He does get along with dogs but cautious around larger dogs.

He's a laid back guy but   can show his 'senior wild side' when you play a little with him or feed him, he'll show you his little ole' man dance!

He is housebroken.   He goes down the steps to go outside, but still struggles going up the steps, with older legs; so the fewer the steps the better.

Does not walk well on leash and isn't interested in learning!

He's a GREAT LITTLE GUY looking to retire with a family!

JR Ewing’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
