Say hello to sweet boy Scooby Doo! Scooby was found in the park and has been working to settle in at his new foster home. He is estimated to be around 1 year old, about 40lbs.
Scooby knows some basic training like sit, down, and crate. He often looks up for further direction and is eager to please. He responds very well to verbal communication.
He is potty trained, but does have accidents at times. He is very intelligent, and with further positive reinforcement training he will be an even better boy.
Scooby is still young, so his energy level is high. He tires out with enrichment like lick matts, puzzle feeding, training sessions, and long walks. Scooby is a squirrel and bird chaser, so being alert and keeping him engaged on walks with him is important. He listens to corrections very well, even better with a treat in hand. His foster is still working on heel with him.
Scoobs is playful and goofy, and enjoys bones, chew toys, and fetch. He plays well with other dogs, but like a typical young dog does still require some correcting.
Scooby’s ideal home would be someone with time to train him and lots of love to give! Anyone would be lucky to share their home with this joyful pup
