Meet Pipit! This spunky little girl is 6 years old and loves to give snuggles and kisses.

Pipit weighs about 13 lbs and she's a strawberry blonde Chihuahua Dashshund mix. She loves to sniff and explore her home and yard, but most of all, she loves to cuddle. She was rescued from a hoarding situation with 9 other dogs, but she has proved to be amazingly resilient and has quickly settled into life as a family dog. She is a "velcro dog" and follows her foster mom from room to room. She's making great progress on potty training and sleeps in bed with her humans at night. She is also getting comfortable wearing a harness and she is learning to walk on a leash.

Pipit would love a home where a family member is home for the majority of the day and Pipit would get to spend lots of time on somebody's lap. She is not a huge fan of her crate and will bark quite a bit before settling down. She would enjoy having another small or medium dog as a companion (she would enjoy snuggling with them) but she would also be fine as an only dog. She would probably be fine with cats too. Older kids would be fine as long as they are respectful with her. She has some bare patches and skin injuries from her time in the hoarding environment, but now that she is being treated for them, her coat should grow back as it heals.

If Pipit sounds like your new best friend, apply to meet her today!
