Cancun is just a really sweet 7 year old guy weighing 18 pounds. He’s a very laid back and happy dog. He spends much of the day either snoozing or watching what’s going on in the neighborhood. He does bark some when he sees the activity outside, but not excessively. He likes to explore in the yard with the other dogs and then is just happy to come in and nap. His foster home has cats and he does well with them. He gets a little to curious at times but the cats tell him when to walk away, and he does.
He’s had limited interaction with younger children and did ok. As long as the kids are respectful and adults introduce them slowly he should be fine.
He’s not a fan of being crated. He does fine when left out while foster mom is gone. He’s potty trained but should be kept on a regular schedule. Cancun is used to being with his human so he would do best with someone who is home often. He would also be happy to have another dog to be friends with, but should do fine by himself.
Cancun does have an old leg injury which causes him to walk with a slight limp but he gets along well and it doesn’t slow him down.
He does take a little while to warm up to new people but after a few minutes and some Bacon flavored treats he’ll be your friend pretty quick.
He is just the sweetest little guy hoping to find his forever home and likes nothing better than to be snuggled up next to you on the couch.
