Calling all adventure seekers, Yaki is your dogs! She will make a great camping, hiking companion. Yaki is a heeler mix, about 10 weeks old now and will weigh about 30-35 lbs full grown. She is a herding dog breed and her forever family will need to keep her active. She is a fast study as she is super smart, so puppy college is in her future. She will do best in a home with a fenced in backyard for her to run & play. Maybe lure chasing or agility course for her to show off her athletic abilities. This little love will need a family who understands her breed and desire to herd. Small children will be herded and ankles will be nipped at with this breed. Yaki will do best with an active family with older considerate children and love of the great outdoors!  She will also need continued training as she is a typical puppy, who is working on house breaking and basic manners. She is just adorable and loves everyone she meets!

Our $250 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
