|
Abbrey (we call her Abbey) is a 4 year old mix, probably Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd and several other dogs as well. Whatever the mix is – she is as sweet as can be with pretty brown eyes. Her foster mom says she is the easiest foster she has had. She was an owner-surrender and obviously used to being a house dog. She knows sit and come. She is quiet in her crate and goes right in, she is completely housetrained – no accidents yet. She gets really excited to take walks and she walks well on a leash, and also loves to run around the yard. And when she is back in the house, she is very chill, but will accept belly rubs as often as she can get them. She is like a big teddy bear to cuddle with. We cuddle on the floor because she hasn’t shown any desire to jump on the furniture. She weighs about 55 – 60lbs., but she is a little overweight, so a family that is willing to make sure she gets some regular exercise would be great.
If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Abbrey’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
