Kaden is a 2-3 year old Great Pyranese mix. Kaden was found as a stray and it was clear he had been neglected. Despite his struggle, he is very affectionate and so easy to love. He has a very mild temperament. He’s great with cats and dogs. He’s a very large dog (85 lbs, plus a good mass of hair) and sometimes likes to give hugs so he could knock over little kids but I think he would otherwise be fine with kids. He’s never had an accident in the house even though it appears he’s never lived as an inside dog. Kaden LOVES to be outside. He’s more comfortable and confident outside  so that’s where you see his true personality shine. He loves to get chased around the yard by his foster dog brother and will never turn down a fun game of “bitey face” with his foster dog brother. He’s still figuring out being “cooped” inside but he’s getting more and more used to it every day. When inside, he likes to find a quiet corner and is content laying there until you’ll take him back outside again. Again, this keeps getting better and I can see him adjusting just fine to inside life in no time. He’s been venturing out of his corner to check things out more and more! Kaden spent about 2.5 hours at the groomer and was SUCH A GOOD BOY despite being a little scared of the totally new experience. (Regular maintenance visits should not be as extensive.) Like many long-haired dogs, Kaden does not shed so he needs to be brushed regularly to prevent matting. I LOVE brushing him and he’s very agreeable to it. Kaden is a wonderful companion and so deserving a forever home. You won’t regret applying for this love bug!

Kaden ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
