Hi! I'm Zelda! I'm a 10 month old lab mix. Have you ever thought to yourself "I love labs, but they're just too big!"? If so, I'm your gal! I'm a petite 30 pounds but have the passion of a much bigger dog. I'm great on a leash, so don't worry if you don't have a fenced in yard...or a yard at all and I ADORE snuggling. I'm potty trained, know how to sit, and by the time you adopt me, I may have a few new tricks up my sleeve! I'm not crate trained, but my foster parents are working with me on becoming more comfortable in my crate. I do pretty well being left out during the day as well...as long as you don't leave any food just out of reach! My perfect home would have an active person, couple, or family that wants a pup who loves to love and play with toys. I'd be happy if I had a dog friend in my new home, or a few kids!

If you are interested in meeting Zelda, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Zelda ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
