I’m Pilgrim, an adorable 9-month-old Chihuahua mix. My what big ears I have, you might be thinking. "The better to hear you when you're sneaking into the kitchen for a treat," I say.  Before I was rescued, I was living outdoors in rural Missouri. My owner wouldn't let me in, so my fur is a little rough. But once I was rescued, the good vets took care of me, and I'll be as good as new--especially once I find my forever family. I'm doing pretty well adjusting to the crate, and I am a learning that I should still potty outside, even though I'm now living inside. Not sure what the big deal is . . . but I like it inside, so I'm gonna learn! I get along great with other dogs and cats. In fact, I'm friendly to everyone I meet. Pilgrim ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
