Hi, I'm D'ogee, and I love being around my people! My favorite things to do are cuddle and play with my Kong toy. I am a bit shy and cautious at first when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly once I know you are friendly! I need to be the only dog in the house because I don't want to share you with another dog - I get jealous - but my foster home does have a kitty cat, and I get along with him pretty well. I think I would get along with kids too, but better if they are age 10 and up since I get startled easily of sudden or unexpected movements and loud noises. My foster mom says I'm a bit of a scaredy cat, but she's been helping me build some more courage. I'm a really good listener and I just want to make you happy - I already know how to "sit" and give "paw" and I'm learning how to lay "down." I'm potty trained and crate trained, but sometimes I whine or bark at first (apartments wouldn't be good for me for this reason) - it helps a lot when my foster mom gives me a frozen Kong in my crate. But I probably don't need to be crated - I don't chew on anything that's not mine and I mostly lay around and sleep when my people aren't around. I'm a very affectionate and gentle boy.   I would love to have a new family who can spend a lot of time with me and give me lots of cuddles and kisses. I've had two other families before coming to live with my foster mom, but they couldn't keep me. My foster mom says it wasn't my fault and she will help me find my real forever family. Is it you?

D'ogee ’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
