About Yuki | |
|
|
1) Fenced yard required
2) Not good with cats or small animals (Strong prey drive)
3) Good with gentle dogs (Herd and nips)
4) Not ideal to have her alone for a long time (Velcro dog)
She is very friendly and affectionate. Even though she looks more like Corgi but her temperament takes more the Labrador side , she will be more likely to lick you to death than to bark at you. She is great with other dogs!
Yuki is a typical puppy with lots of energy. A fence is required for her because of her breed. She will need lots of exercise to burn out her Labrador energy. As she grows, daily walks or trips to the dog park would really help her continue to be social and get her much needed exercise.
She is beginning to learn some basic commands such as come and sit. She is almost potty trained and housebroken. She does not have a problem with going out to go potty in the rain. She is very good inside the crate at night, has no problem of bathing, nail trim and she rides well in the car. * Please be aware that she is a still puppy and would do best with constant additional training.
Her name, Yuki means Snow in Japanese. When I saw her in the outside cage at animal control, She looked like last fluff of snowflake which is melting and almost vanished but just patiently waits for Spring. Her existence reminds me of the poem "Life is nothing but snow" which is a famous death poem in Japan. I urged to foster her at my first sight. My heart completely fell in love with her from that moment. I am looking for the family who can fully commit her and give her love and snuggle.
Yuki is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.
