Meet Pearly!  She is a 70lb, 1 year old American Bulldog/Pittie and she is just one big puppy!  Pearly loves other dogs her size and loves to play with toys and run around the backyard.  Pearly loves the cats in her foster home and tries to play with them constantly and does not understand why the cat hates her and continues to harass him,  so she is probably too much fun for felines in her new home.  :) She would do best in a home without small dogs. Pearly also would do best in a home with a calmer male dog. Or she would love to be the only dog and have all the attention to herself! Pearly does require a fenced in yard for her forever home. Pearly would do well with kids 10+ because of her puppy exhurberance and migh accidentally knock down little ones.  Pearly is potty, crate and doggie door trained and she does well on a leash too.  She knows basic commands and is eager to please. She is a HUGE cuddler. She is the definition of a snuggle bug and wants to be near/on you all the time (she thinks shes a lap dog haha). For example, I work from home and she is always trying to sit in my desk chair with me. As you can imagine, her size makes it pretty interesting for both of us.  She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES people and dogs. Going to petsmart to get her a new toy was like going to a meet and greet that was setup just for her haha. I mention this because I think she would really love another dog to play with.   If you want a BFF that is up for everything anytime she is  your girl.

Pearly’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
