She will be a medium size (40-60 lbs) dog when fully grown.

 

She loves the big dog in her foster home and it would be great if her forever home had another  dog to help with socialization but she would do fine as an only dog as long as she gets lots of outside socialization.. 

 

Aruka is a very sweet puppy and loves to be cuddled.  She seeks out attention and loves to be picked up and snuggled.  She does like to stay close to her human so she would be a wonderful companion dog.  She really wants to be a lap dog and wants a home where she will be allowed to cuddle up next to you on the couch.  She loves playing with toys of all kinds.  

 

She is just beginning to work on potty training and she will need continued training in her new home.  She is very treat motivated so she knows the commands "sit' and "come" and should do very well with learning additional commands. 

 

She currently sleeps all night in a puppy pen without making any noise during the night so her foster mom is hopeful that will carry over to her kennel training.

 

Aruka will be available for adoption September 3rd after her spray, microchipping & 2nd round of puppy shots.

Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
