FENCED IN YARD REQUIRED, NO SMALL CHILDREN, COMPANION DOG IN HOME A MUST!

Peter, the poodle, is 9 yrs, 6 lbs and full of energy.   He is a "toy" poodle but not a toy.    Leash trained but can only go for very, very short walks because of his size.  House trained if taken outside frequently.

Loves being close to his family.   Plays a game though where he runs away and have to catch him.
Looking for a family who can keep up with antics and keep him safe.  Must be aware of high places, ie sofa, bed, as he can injure himself jumping down.
Cannot be outside without leash or secure area (fence) and observed.
Currently, with smaller dogs, but prefers a quieter household.  No big dogs.
Prefer to stay in ST. LOUIS Metro area.

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Peter’s adoption fee is $125.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
