Perrie is a female, 10 lb full bred red long haired dachsund who spent 7 years as a breeder dog.  She’s sweet and SMART, LOVES belly rubs and to cuddle.  She’s learning how to be a dog, seems to be somewhat socialized, timid at first w/people but quickly warms up.  She seems very comfortable w/kids especially if she gets some belly rubs.  She does not like the crate nor a pen and needs to be in a home w/people who work from home or retired.    She is not appropriate for an apartment.  She is a typical dachshund, strong, persistent and vocal. She is learning basic commands, and she will be available for adoption around September 1 .
