York is a 6 week old hound mix.  His momma, Candy, was picked as a stray in rural Illinois.  While in the care of animal control, it was determined she was pregnant and needed to get out of the shelter before she had her puppies.  York was born in a Needy Paws foster home on July 28.  He is one of the an 11 puppy litter!!  York is the shy one of the bunch that likes to watch for awhile before joining in on the playful antics of his brothers.   He loves to be held and cuddled!  York will be ready to join his new family  October 3 , after being neutered.  York  is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

York’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
