(named after Yogi Berra. Entire litter was named after baseball greats)

Lab/shepherd mix

9 weeks old (Birthdate: 2/4/18)

Estimated size full grown - 50-60 pounds.

He is considered a large breed dog.

He is black with white patches on his chin, chest and paws. His coat is very soft and longer than the typical lab. 

Yogi wants you to know that he is looking for a family to spend the rest of his life with who will be patient with his insecurities. He is such a sweetheart and does really well meeting new people and even does well with kids. He loves to play and snuggle and everyone that meets him falls in love with him and wants to take him home. He is very social and enjoys chasing sticks and playing with lots of toys of all kinds with other dogs. However, he will need a family who will have a lot of patience with him and would do best in a home where he won’t be left alone for long.

• He doesn’t like to spend time in his crate and will continually cry if left in it for very long.
• He does well with other dogs.
• He does bark when playing with his siblings or when another dog is barking at him but we are working on that and he is learning quickly.
• Yogi knows the commands come, sit, shake and is learning the command wait.
• He is working hard on potty training but will need ongoing training.
• A fence is highly recommended to help burn off his Labrador energy.  Daily walks would also be ideal.

Yogi is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

Yogi ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
