Thank you for your interest in adopting from Needy Paws Rescue.
Needy Paws is a 100% foster-based rescue which means all of our dogs reside with approved foster families. We are dedicated to finding the best fur-ever homes for our dogs and all of our volunteers and fosters work tirelessly to make this happen.
We do not adopt on a first-come, first-serve basis and it is our right to approve or deny any adoption application.
Please also note that we do conduct veterinarian checks for each potential adopter. All pets in the home MUST be up to date on all required vaccinations, current on heartworm prevention, and spayed or neutered. There may be exceptions to this if there is a medical diagnosis by a licensed veterinarian preventing any of the above.
If you have seen our dogs on another social media site, please check our animal list to see if the dog you are interested in is still listed prior to submitting an application.
If you are ready to commit to making one of our dogs a part of your family, please complete the below adoption application. We will review it and then contact you. Please fill out the application completely as leaving questions blank or not answering may delay your application. Place N/A if you can't answer.
Adopters MUST BE at least 21 years of age and reside within an approximate hour radius of the St. Louis area. There are exceptions on a "case by case" basis.
